Alison Brie

Alison Brie became one of the most sought-after television actresses after she portrayed two roles in two different series: a young and honest coed on the cult comedy "Community", (NBC,2009-14, Yahoo!,2015) as well as the suburban housewife betrayed by a 1960s advertising manager on the critically acclaimed "Mad Men", (AMC 2007-15). Her extraordinary ability to play both dramatic and comedy proved she was confident enough to take on ever more exciting and higher profile roles. Alison Brie Schermerhorn was born on the 29th of December. 29, 1983 in Pasadena, CA. She started performing from a very young age, mostly at performances at the Jewish Community Center in nearby Los Feliz. Brie obtained her diploma in Drama from the California Institute of the Arts in 2001 shortly after graduating from South Pasadena High School. As she was pursuing her education, Brie also attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland. Brie continued her stage work when she graduated from college. She also began to pursue TV appearances. in 2006 she acted as a hairdresser who was just beginning her career on the popular show "Hannah Montana" (Disney 2006-2010).
