Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and performer. One of her most well-known role can be Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' an American comedy show. However, she considers herself primarily as a musician. When she was nine years old of age, she was playing around with music. The first time she began to study music professionally when she was twelve. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was 14 when she released her first collection of cover songs. From that point on, there's been no looking back. Orrantia has Hispanic roots, however she was born in the USA. Although she was raised speaking only English and has never lived in Mexico she's very happy about her Hispanic culture. In order to preserve her heritage she's learning Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs based on the language. A song she has created is called 'Hasta Verte,' which she recorded in Spanish. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first season of The X Factor. Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she got four "yeses", or votes, from the judges at The Seattle audition. She initially auditioned to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. However, three other women singers and she were brought together for auditions of the rest of her songs. They were eventually eliminated at the final show.
