Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen comes from St. Louis Missouri. Her most well-known role is Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the singer in The rock group The Pretty Reckless. The music of Momsen is used in movies and TV shows like How to Be Single, Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on July 26 1993. She has a younger sister Sloane Momsen who is also an actor. Her dance training was at St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. The actress began her professional acting career when she was three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake and Bake. Momsen's acting career slowed to an abrupt halt over a period of 3 years. Then she was offered the part of the principal role in Misconceptions in the series Misconceptions on WB. Momsen was also on the show Saving Shiloh in the year 2006. She was also one of the three top potential candidates for Hannah Montana's lead character. But, Miley Cyrus was awarded the role.
